The Turunc beach is a quiet stretch of sun-kissed sands that gently shelve down into the sea. This, along with the cool breezes and calm water make Turunc a perfect beach destination for families. In fact, the beach at Turunc bears the Blue Flag from the European Union. The pretty promenade area and the quay present a beautiful sight. At Turunc, you can also visit the secluded bays of Amos and Kumlubuk. You could also take a boat trip to the charming village Cliftlik, the Paradise Bay and to the Turtle Beach at Dalyan. Enjoy the range of water sport activities available at Turunc, including snorkelling, windsurfing, jet skiing, scuba diving and parasailing. Adventure enthusiasts can undertake horse riding, fishing, trekking, cycling, rafting and jeep safaris in the countryside. The sleepy villages in the surrounding mountains are great for sampling the rural life of Turkey.

The vibrant Monday market and the otherwise plenty of shops in the area offer options for shopping. The few low-key music bars in Turunc are the only way for partying out at night. Couples can go for romantic moonlight cruises complete with great Turkish entertainment and hospitality.

If you want some hustle and bustle during your Turunc holidays, then head off by a water taxi or bus to the resorts at Icmeler and Marmaris which have quite a lively air along with lots of shops and restaurants. In fact, it takes only 30 minutes to reach Icmeler, and 45 minutes for Marmaris from Turunc. Holiday excursions from Turunc include the ancient sites in and around Marmaris, the Phosphorus Caves, Aphrodisias and the Dalyan Delta.
