Dining facilities in Taba are mostly restricted to the resort and hotel restaurants. Upscale resort restaurants are usually very good with international a la carte dishes, while most hotels offer themed restaurants with foods ranging from authentic Bedouin to Oriental, European and American cuisines. Taba Heights’ dine-around program allows diners to sample food from different restaurants, other than their own resort’s or hotel’s, and this is generally an excellent way to taste a variety of mouth-watering snacks, main courses, desserts, drinks and cocktails.
On the recommendation list is the Marriott’s restaurant and its wonderful continental and North African cuisine, the Castle Zaman’s meat and seafood dishes, slow-cooked to perfection in the Middle Eastern style, the Chez Pascal’s steaks and seafood, and the Salima restaurant’s delicious menu and its setting by the Fjord.
Taba is a tiny village and offers little of any nightlife options. Your best alternative is to take the short trip to Eilat, Israel.
