
St Pauls Bay offer plentiful attractions, accommodation, a variety of nightlife, and leisure options. The coastline offers wonderful view of the sea and St Pauls Island. A large statue on the island commemorates the arrival of St Paul, the founder of Christianity in Malta. The beautiful coastline extends from St Pauls Bay all the way to Qawra Point Tower. The parish church that dates back to 1617 is amongst the oldest churches in the region. The Wignacourt Tower, built in 1610 during, was once the northern-most military outpost of Malta. Today, the tower is home to a small museum on Malta's loaded military-architectural heritage.
St Pauls Bay is divided into four important areas. Xemxija, a less ruffled sunny area located on the southeast side of St Pauls Bay, is a popular site for the more affluent tourists. The old Town of St Pauls Bay is home to an old and pleasing little colorful fishing harbor which remains filled with boats. Bugibba is the entertainment capital of St Pauls Bay and has shops, bars, cafes, and other modern tourist amenities along the sprawling seafront esplanade. Qawra is the newest tourist area and boast smarter shops and sophisticated amenities along the seafront.
Mellieha Bay, the largest sandy beach on Malta, is just a few kilometers away from St Pauls Bay. Its friendly beaches and shallow blue waters draw water sports lovers. Golden Bay is also well-admired for its reddish, sandy beach and water sports on offer. Other attractions in St Pauls Bay include the Splash and Fun Park and the Popeye Village, a place loved by films makers.
