Southern Cyprus boasts a typical Mediterranean climate. Summer in Southern Cyprus is hot and dry, with cloudless blue skies and nearly 13 hours of sunshine. Peak summer temperature often reaches 33C during daytime. After dark, temperatures drop by several degrees to settle on mild, breezy evenings. Southern Cyprus’ coastal towns experience hotter temperatures than the hilly regions. Hilly areas enjoy cool, refreshing weather and resorts here are perfect to spend your summer holiday.

Southern Cyprus winters are cooler than its summers, but still warm at an average of 18C and 5 hours of sunshine. Only the Troodos mountainous regions are cold. The coastal region is usually great for winter holidays.
