Everglades National Park
Everglades National Park in South Beach, Florida, protects the southern 25% of the original Everglades. Boat and tram tours are excellent for viewing wildlife, including alligators and many tropical birds.

Miami Metro Zoo
Miami Metro Zoo in South Beach is also open 365 days a year. The biggest attraction at the zoo is the Hippo Slide, which is the world’s largest inflatable water slide. It stands over 35 feet high and 175 feet long.  Plunge down the 25-foot-drop to cool off or slide down in a fly dry tube and keep your clothes dry.  Either way, this ride is a “huge” adventure!

Miami Museum of Science and Space Transit Planetarium
The Miami Planetarium in South Beach, Florida, entertains and educates children and adults alike about astronomy and the wonders of our universe. The Planetarium houses a 65-feet diameter domed projection screen with 231 seats. It also features surround sound and video projection bringing the stars and planets indoors in animated live star shows and music-filled laser light shows.
