Description: Situated on ‘the rainbow of Cuba’ with an amazing 21 metre waterfall in the proximity of the hotel, The Soroa Hotel and Villas is in midst of great natural beauty. The place is a treat for nature lovers being flanked by rivers, rich green vegetation, the steep valleys and the vibrant sights of the largest orchid farm in whole of the Cuba. An added attraction of the place is the sight of Manantiales River, twisting and turning through the hills with numerous waterfalls tempting the onlookers to take a dip. When the sunlight diffuses through the mist generated by the waterfalls, the onlookers can see a small rainbow at certain fixed hours each day, giving the region of Soroa the reputation of being the Rainbow of Cuba. The water in the river is generally at low temperatures and contains many medicinal properties owing to the minerals dissolved in it.
Rooms: There are a total of 80 air-conditioned cottages with two rooms each having an exclusive bathroom, Telephone and Radio. There are ten air-conditioned houses equipped with kitchen and refrigerator. Four of these houses also feature TV, VCR and tape recorder, Micro-Wave Oven and exclusive swimming pools.
