Sardinia How To Get There

Sardinia has fewer means of public transport than the posh cities of Italy. Almost everyone on the island relies on bus and rail for commutation. They are good means to get around the region, except where services are restricted. Travel in bus and rail is comfortable, however it is taxing due to slow speed at which trains travel. One more reason for not taking a train is that there are fewer stations and you will miss many of the tourist attractions if you remain confined to train travel.

However, local tour operators provide their own facilities to reach different destinations and tourist places. Cars and bicycles are best way for exploring the nearby areas. Overall, there is one positive thing about public transport in Sardinia – it is much cheaper than other cities and districts of Italy.
