Salina is located at the northern side of Malta with rocky coastline. It is at the end of the seaboard which widens from Qawra to Bugibba and stretches up to Xemxija. Salina lies on the undeveloped areas of St. Paul’s bay section. Salina is quite popular for the ample salt production. The Knights of St John had developed the salt plans in the 16th century, which still exist and can be seen and smelt down on the seacoast.

General Etiquette
At bar, the tip is not expected. However, if the hostess takes your order, you can tip upto 15%.
At restaurants, the tip is generally not included; therefore, you can tip again upto 15%.
When it comes to taxis, a 10% tip is expected.
