Puerto Naos beach and town has several excellent restaurants and bars that offer both indoor and alfresco a la carte and buffet dining facilities. International cuisines range from Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Lebanese and Mexican to Italian, French, Greek and Mediterranean favorites. Traditional delights like Papas Arugadas or wrinkled potatoes, Gambas, Tortilla, avocado salad, accompanied by cheese made from goat’s milk raised indigenously, and Spanish beer, are the highlights of a Canarian menu. This is accompanied by Spanish confectionaries like Príncipe Alberto chocolate mousse with biscuits, Huevos Moles sweet, Frangollo dessert and the occasional Gofio ice-cream.
In and around Puerto Naos town, there are several cafes and taverns to grab a quick Canarian snack made of grilled, baked or fried fish or pork meat, English style sandwiches, and Italian pastas and pizzas. Canarian wine is a coveted item and found in most local and beachside restaurants and bars, including beer, cocktails and fruit juices.
