Puerto Naos beach is a 500m stretch of black sand wetted by the blue Atlantic. Virginal, unspoiled, and dramatically beautiful, the Puerto Naos beach is refreshing and relaxing and a brilliant holiday destination for discerning visitors.
A cluster of modern apartment complexes, hotels, and several restaurants and bars rests atop Puerto Naos beach. The restaurants and bars make up the nightlife in Puerto Naos, which is lively, but low-key compared to the other popular Canarian beach resorts. There are no discos in Puerto Naos.
A family-friendly resort, Puerto Naos offers an array of facilities for island tours and excursions and water sports such as swimming, snorkeling, sailing, and scuba diving. Puerto Naos waters have excellent visibility and there are stunning underwater volcanic caves, canyons, tunnels and chimneys to explore, including varied marine life. Night scuba diving facilities are also available and highly recommended.
Puerto Naos beach is perfect for sun-bathing, and although there are no lines of sun-beds arranged on the beach, they are easily available on the beach to place at a favorite spot. The palm tree lining allows just the right amount of shade and sun for a relaxing day.
Behind the Puerto Naos beach is the main town. Puerto Naos town is small, with very few streets intercrossing. The boulevard is the town’s tourist hub and has shops, restaurants and bars.
To the south of Puerto Naos beach lie the nudist beaches of Playa de Charco Verde and Playa de las Monjas, which also attract a number of tourists.
