Though Mauritius is a well known destination for spending your holidays and people from all over the world come to spend their holidays at Mauritius, Porte de Flacq is one place which hasn’t yet got the taste of tourism. The town has no restaurants of its own. However, the city center of Flacq, or Centre de Flacq, does have some good places to grab a meal at. At Poste de Flacq, you can get some sumptuous traditional meals served at the local bijouterie's.

•    Café Monaco – this is a small eatery at the city of Flaque and serves local sea food preparations along with rice. There is a hint of creole cooking in the local cuisine.
•    Le Pekinois – another eatery in Centre de Flacq, also touted as its best one. You can get reasonably priced local cuisine and seafood here.

There is also a well known KFC outlet at the City Center.
