Playa Taurito’s nightlife is unflattering. As the evening draws close, most visitors will either crowd their hotel restaurants or the beachside local bars and cafes. Food is varied, and seafood preparations over enjoyable drinks keep dining a simple affair. For those who would like to experience loud, animated and even boisterous nightlife, cars can be hired to the nearby resorts of Puerto Rico, Playa del Ingles, and Maspalomas.
Puerto Rico enjoys an animated nightlife, and has the reputation of being an all-night party zone. Puerto Rico’s San Juan area has the majority of restaurants catering to British holidaymakers, and all budget types. On the 8km promenade of Playa del Ingles, San Agustin and Maspalomas, the quality of food varies greatly. The resorts enjoy a range of international cuisine restaurants, as also English style bars and pubs, and a couple of Asian outlets. There are also few excellent seafood restaurants in the Arguineguin fishing village.
