Playa Taurito is rated high on the list of relaxing beach holidays. Sans the noisy nightlife or constant bumping into shops and bars, Playa Taurito is a peaceful heaven bordered by pleasant sands and surrounded by lush gardens. The water here is flat and safe; it surprises little to discover that a large number of young families and couples book Playa Taurito for their summer holidays every year. Playa Taurito’s coast enjoys fabulous warm weather. Keen sunbathers and swimmers will also enjoy the Taurito Lido, or outdoor swimming pool. The lido is a great place to tan or snooze under the hot Canarian sun.

Very close to Playa Taurito, you have some of Gran Canaria’s most amazing beaches. The Playa del Cura and Playa de Tauro are two beaches located next to Playa Taurito. Both beaches boast vast stretches of sand, sea and tropical palms. A little further from Playa de Tauro lies the bustling resort and town of Puerto Rico. In Puerto Rico, you can enjoy a range of water sports: parascending, windsurfing, scuba diving, jet-skiing, etc.

To the north of Playa Taurito is the beach and town of Puerto de Mogán. It is hard to beat a day-trip to Puerto de Mogán’s picturesque town. Playa Mogán is also an excellent scuba-diving destination.
