The southern coast enjoys year-round bright, sunny weather. The Playa Fanabe beach comes equipped with plenty of water sport facilities like snorkeling, diving, surfing, etc. During the day, there are a number of fun activities you can participate in, although lazing under the sun is imminent after a while.

The La Caleta resort is a few kilometers from Playa Fanabe. La Caleta has a nice fishing harbor and a beach with a handful of superb restaurants and bars, and varied accommodation options. Several good golf courses are located within 5 minutes drive from La Caleta. Visitors might also consider taking boat rides into the Atlantic for whale and dolphin watching and fishing.

A 10 minute walk from Playa Fanabe will bring you to the Bahia del Duque luxury resort, and 15 minute drive to Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos. 45 minutes into the north is Tenerife’s capital Santa Cruz and the Mount Teide.
