Playa del Ingles Weather

Gran Canaria enjoys a spring-like weather throughout the year, the southern coast receiving a year-round abundance of sunshine. Playa del Ingles’ summer temperature ranges between 23C to 27C. Although it can get slightly hotter in peak summers of July and August, the trade-winds help temper the heat, creating excellent conditions for windsurfing.

Winters set in around November and December with pleasant temperatures of 20C to 22C, followed by nearly 7 hours of daily sunshine. The month of January is the coldest, but at 19C, is still comfortably cool.

Playa del Ingles’ coastal areas see minimal rainfall, the whole region getting only about 250mm a year.
