Patalavaca has few local food outlets serving Canarian style fish and meat dishes and mainland Spanish delicacies. The quality of food is what makes these local restaurants different from each other, because unfortunately, the menu remains the same with little variation. There are some moderately priced restaurants as well, serving a mixed menu of traditional foods and British traveler’s diet like club sandwiches, cocktails, confectionaries and other snacks. Full course meals can also be enjoyed.
Patalavaca promenade houses some very good restaurants and bars, that are slightly more up-market than those of the inland. 4-star hotel restaurants usually come up with a varied cuisine, including a variety of European delights and Mediterranean and South-east Asian dishes. There are also plenty of beach-side bars and cafes to enjoy a relaxing evening.
North of Patalavaca, Puerto Rico is the hub of night-crawlers. Located further north, the Puerto Mogan resort has a wide choice of piano and jazz bars. You will also come across nice seafood restaurants in the Arguineguin fishing village.
