Ovacik lies at an altitude of 450 m above sea level, making it a cool and breezy spot. The mountains on one side and the sea on the other make the weather of Ovacik quite pleasant all year round. In fact, the busier beach resorts at Fethiye and Olu Deniz are always warmer a few degrees than Ovacik. The warm and sunny weather at Ovacik with an average of 15 degrees Celsius and 8 sunshine hours every day during spring and autumn seasons means you can enjoy lots of sightseeing, cycling and walking tours. In the peak of summer, the temperature hovers around 25 degrees Celsius, reaching 30C only occasionally. Summers receive light rainfall in Ovacik but winters are rainy, mainly during the months of January and February. The average temperature in winters is around 9 degrees Celsius and you get at least 5 hours of sunshine every day.
