If you are in Omodhos during August, you will be one of the lucky thousands to celebrate the annual wine festival. Restaurants and bars flow with wine and liqueurs during this time. A visit to Linos, the wine press, is most likely to be on your Omodhos tour itinerary and for a good reason too, since there are several restaurants around the area known to serve fine wine.
Omodhos enjoys a fair amount of dining options, but nightlife here is low-key. If you fancy a little late-night entertainment, you can drop by any of Limassol’s or Paphos’ restaurants or bars, located less than an hour from Omodhos.
Although far less bustling than the beach resorts of Cyprus, Troodos has numerable pleasant restaurants and cafes. The sunny river banks and lanes of Kakopetria and the Platres resort are dotted with a number of local and international eateries.
