Kyrenia is the main tourist hub of Northern Cyprus. The lovely beach promenade and harbor boast a wide variety of local and international restaurants. Turkish cuisine specialties include meze or small appetizers, followed by grilled fish and juicy kebab platters. There are some local eateries that specialize in traditional Cypriot preparations, including local vegetable dishes like kolokas and molohiya that is served in home-cooked styles.  Those who prefer a choice of European dishes, including Indian bread and curries and Chinese seafood, can pick from a range of international hotel restaurants and privately owned bars.

You will find a nice selection of restaurants, bars and cafes in Famagusta. Famagusta enjoys a lively nightlife, particularly because of its large student population. The capital city of Nicosia offers a large and very fine selection of multi-cuisine restaurants and bars, including several small local food-joints and eateries. Gazimagosa, in Iskele, also entertains a large tourist population and has numerable nice restaurants to offer.
