Nicosia Weather

Unlike the coastal beaches of southern Cyprus, Nicosia experiences mild weather throughout the year. Nicosia summers enjoy a luxurious 25C temperature and 10 hours of sunshine. Warm, dry days mean excellent weather for sightseeing, shopping and adventure. Come winter, day temperatures fall to 15C and night to 5C. Daily sunshine lasts 5 hours. December to January will also see the maximum rainfall in Nicosia, but showers are usually short and quick.

Nicosia boasts splendid spring weather. Following a cold winter, the sunshine seems brighter and fresher, the bursts of colorful blooms and lush greenery adding to Nicosia’s natural allure. Spring is usually great for romantic honeymoons and couple holidays in Nicosia.
