New Port Richey Getting there and around

New Port Richey is served by two airports –the Tampa International Airport and St. Petersburg Clearwater Airport.  From these airports, New Port Richey is very well connected to major cities and towns in the adjacent areas. Florida; Tampa and other important cities are easy to fly into and from. Once inside the city, New Port Richey has lots and lots of fun and entertainment. It is home to several parks. The important parks are Sims Park Boat Ramp; James E. Grey Preserve; Grand Boulevard Park; Russ Park; Recreation Center Skate Park; River Park; Orange Lake; Meadows Park; Frances Avenue; Sims Park and Jasmine Park. The last of these is a wonderfully innovative, new Recreation, Fitness and Aquatic Center that was built in 2007 at a cost of $14 million. So, one can only expect tons of goodies from a place like this!
