Nalaguraidhoo is one of the best beaches in Maldives. This is one of the uninhabited islands of Alif Dhaal Atoll. It is situated 60 km south west of Male and is nearly 1.5 km long by 0.5 km wide. Nalaguraidhoo is also called the Sun land and is simply stunning. Situated in the smooth blue waters of the Indian Ocean, Nalaguraidhoo beach welcomes the visitors with tropical breezes, white powder beaches and friendly people.
The shape of Nalaguraidhoo lends to a grand lagoon. This is perfect for water sports such as snorkeling or canoeing. The barrier reef starts close enough to swim to and nature counters with a numerous colorful fish and coral, sea life and crystal clear water.
There are parts of the island where one can see the reef right from the beach. If one wants, they can choose an overwater bungalow. This would allow you to day dream for hours while watching the fish and other creatures.
The other shore is a dazzling pure white beach that you can walk, jog, relax, take pictures of - whatever you dream. The shore is full and inviting even in high tide. This island is true to its name of the Sun Island since most days are full of sun with little cloud cover.
