Located in Lombardy Italy, Milan was founded by the Celtic people. Around 222 BC the Milan came under Roman control. In the subsequent years the city was coveted by many European powers and had been under prolonged French and German occupation. General Etiquette

Italians are cultural people, soft spoken and courteous. They do not indulge in rough mannerisms. Therefore you must be modest and courteous towards people who converse with you. You must not leave a restaurant without tipping the waiter amply. This is ill manners in Milan.
