Mexico Weather

Mexico’s climate is accommodating and families on Mexico holidays will always find it agreeable to visit its beautiful cities with colonial splendour or revel in more leisurely activities. Particularly popular months for visitors are November – April when the weather is dry or during school vacations in the wetter summer months. Northern parts are generally dry with sporadic rainfall while southern parts that lie in the tropics can receive as much as 200cm of precipitation annually. You aren’t likely to encounter temperatures below freezing. High season for Mexico holidays is December – April and June – August. You may have to contend with local tourists for the best beach spots around Christmas and during Holy Week (celebrated in the last week of March or in the first half of April).
