The Playa Meloneras has a small promenade lined with 5 to 6 restaurants, most serving meat and fish dishes. The restaurants are located at the ground floor of the 4-storey Playa Melanores Shopping Centre. There are also a couple of 5-star hotels bordering the beach. The hotel restaurants tend be a little more up-market than the restaurants of the Shopping Centre.

Most restaurants on the beach serve a similar menu, and are often alike in layout. They are typically crowded between 8 and 10pm, although if you go earlier or later, you’ll enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere.

Playa Meloneras has few bars with Happy Hours; drinks are available at 2 for 1 offer, and often reduced prices. The most common beer you will come across is the Tropical, including the Spanish mainland beer San Miguel. You are also likely to stumble upon the Canarian beer Dorada, and a range of imported beers at well-stocked bars and upscale restaurants.
