Marsascala Holidays

Marsascala is a seaside village in the Island of Malta. It is often referred to as M'Scala. The village is located in the south east part of Malta. The area is very popular for summer homes and buzzes with activity during summer holiday season. The Maltese area of Marsascala is known as Weid Il-Ghajn and is located at the where the hills descend from Zejtun and Zabbar. The Marsascala Bay was in ancient times used by the Romans for anchoring their ships. The U shaped coastline and beach of Marsascala along with many bars, restaurants and leisure activities makes it a much sought after tourist destination.

Elegant Marsascala

Marsascala is an elegant tourist resort located in the south of Malta. Marsascala is unique in that there is no sandy beach here but rather the resort has developed around a narrow sea inlet. The U shaped coastline provides plenty of space for swimming and sunbathing among the rocks. There is another bay at a distance of 1km from Marsascala known as St. Thomas Bay. This bay has sandy beaches and tourists to Marsascala can enjoy the sandy beaches and shallow waters here. Marsascala is popular destination for scuba divers and people interested in any form of water sports. There is a good dive school at Marsascala. The beauty of this resort is further enhanced by the many multi coloured fishing boats seen here. The seafront promenade is lined with cafés, bars and restaurants and extends into St. Thomas Bay.
