Marsa Alam Weather

Marsa Alam has a typical desert climate, dry and windy (more so than Hurghada), with almost no rainfall all year round. The summer days are hot, but usually comfortably breezy in the evenings. Summers last from April to September with temperatures averaging 20 to 45°C, and near cloudless skies. Winter begins October and lasts till March with temperatures averaging 18 to 35°C. The Read Sea water temperature rarely ever falls below 22°C and rise above 29°C, making it just perfect for swimming.
The best time to visit Marsa Alam is late winters and early spring, usually from January to April or May.
