From Gatwick-London, and Manchester, the Thomsonfly flies every Wednesday to Marsa Alam. From Gatwick, flights take approximately 5 hours and 25 minutes; from Manchester flights take 5 hours and 35 minutes to Marsa Alam.
For visitors from other countries, they had best take flights to Cairo and then fly the EgyptAir to Marsa Alam. EgyptAir also has seasonal flights scheduled from Amman and Jeddah to Marsa Alam. If you are already in Cairo, you can also avail the Upper Egypt Bus Company services from Cairo Gateway Bus Station to Marsa Alam. From Hurghada, there are also scheduled bus services to Marsa Alam. If you are in El Gouna, you must first come to Cairo and then to Marsa Alam.
Marsa Alam is also connected by bus services to Luxor, Aswan and Edfu, although foreign tourists are not allowed on this route.
