Malta Weather

Malta enjoys Mediterranean climate due to its location. The weather in Malta is perfect for tourists, who can visit and explore attractions on the island throughout the year. Malta receives almost constant sunshine in the summer and little rain and substantial sunshine in winter months, which is ideal for tourists. Summer days are hot, dry, and sunny with temperatures going up to 31C in August. The daytime temperature is cooled down by sea breezes. During summer months, Malta receives around 12 hours of sunshine a day which is ideal for sunbathing on beaches. The Mediterranean waters are warm and perfect for a range of water sport activities, such as scuba diving and snorkeling. The winter in Malta is mild and temperatures rarely go below 15C.  October and November months have around 7 hours sunshine a day. Rainfall is very low in Malta.
