Los Cristianos Weather

Los Cristianos is blessed with 320 days of sunshine and spring-like warmth throughout the year. The difference between summer and winter temperature is very low: July through October experience 29C while January, the coldest month, sees an average of 23C. Normally the summer heat is checked by the trade winds and Canarian cold current, but on rare occasions, the Calima sandstorm blowing from the Sahara can raise the temperature by several degrees.

During summer, the sea is warm and maintains temperatures between 25C and 26C. In winter, the waters cool to a tepid 19C, but still good for a swim.
