Description: Little Arches is a charming hotel just steps away from famous Miami Beach. This adults only 10 room hotel welcomes guests 16 yrs of age or older. On Friday nights, the nearby village of Oistins offers some of the best fish-fry you’ll ever sample. Only four miles away, the famous St. Lawrence Gap has the best nightlife, a variety of restaurants, bars and nightclubs on the island. The hotel is only eight miles from the airport and the Championship Barbados Golf Club is two miles away.

Rooms: All its 10 rooms feature unique layouts and are named after different islands in the Grenadines. The rooms offer A/C & ceiling fans, complementary internet access in reception area, satellite TV, King-sized beds, daily international newspaper service, in room safe, ‘Judith Jackson Spa’ fine hair care and skin products, coffee/tea maker, bathrobes and hairdryers. Two honeymoon suites sport an oversized whirlpool spa on private terraces.

Palm Island and Union Island are Luxury Ocean Suites and offer the same layout, except that each is the other’s reverse. They feature private extra-large whirlpool spas and terracotta terraces that overlook the ocean. The Carriacou is a beautiful self-contained Garden Suite. Decorated with locally crafted pottery and distinctive murals, they also feature Spanish fabrics and bed linens in cotton.

Dining: Cafe Luna is an excellent open-air rooftop restaurant. Breakfast (full breakfast is complimentary with stays of seven nights or more), lunch and dinner with a global flair. Guests relish sundowners and glorious sunsets over the Caribbean Sea and Miami Beach. Regular menu changes make the delicious meals even more interesting.

Facilities: A beautiful freeform rooftop swimming pool offers superb views from dawn to dusk, but guests find it especially agreeable whilst enjoying the complimentary cheese service and sundown wine upon arrival. Mountain bikes, snorkelling equipment and beach chairs. Enterprise Beach (locally known as Miami Beach) is next to the property and arrangements for water sports and other fun activities may be made either at the reception or directly with water sports operators. A gourmet picnic on the hotel’s own 42 foot yacht – the Soul Venture may be arranged. It features an outdoor freshwater shower, a sunbathing deck and snorkelling gear and is the best way of visiting many out of the way coves along the coast. In case Soul Venture is unavailable during your stay, the hotel honours complimentary sailing aboard the ‘Silver Moon’ (or similar); a deluxe 44 ft. catamaran that accepts a maximum of 12 guests.
