Levante Beach Holidays

Spain is much more than just Salsa dancing and a rocking nightlife. It is about sand and sun too. And one of the most popular beaches of Spain is the Levante Beach.
Levante beach is located in the Benidorm area of Spain. Levante literally means “to the east” in Spanish. And rightly so, it lies to the east of Puerto Banus. Because of its east location, Levante beach is also called the sunrise beach. Its other cousin, the Ponente beach is on the west and therefore the moniker- the sunset beach. Levante beach is definitely the place to be if one is looking for some wild times.

Levante beach is not meant for people looking for a quiet holiday by the beachside aka the Maldivian resorts. Levante beach is all about fun and frolic. The beach is 500 metres in length and 300 metres in width, with a beautiful crescent structure. It has lot of space and plenty of sun beds on offer. However, in the peak season, it still gets very crowded indeed. That surely speaks volumes about Levante beach’s popularity. The area has a rocking nightlife with an unending line of discos and pubs. And despite the huge crowd, Levante beach is one of the cleanest beaches one will ever come across.

Tipping is not a common practice in Levante beach, just like in the rest of Spain. Nobody could be seen tipping at a bar or a cheap restaurant. However, some tourists do tip in to fine dining restaurants. Although the Spanish do not expect tips, still, it is a good practice to leave a 10% tip in a restaurant. No tips are necessary for the cab driver.
