Larnaca Weather

Larnaca summers are long and hot, following a mild spring. March to May enjoys an average temperature between 15C and 17C. Hot weather begins April, and by June, July and August, the heat will have gradually risen from 25C to 30C, or higher. Nearly 12 hours of sunshine means there’s ample scope to enjoy sunbathing on the beaches. The water is a little warm at 28C around August. During spring and autumn, the water enjoys a tepid 20C to 25C, making it perfect for swimming and other activities.

Larnaca autumn is short with average 20C temperature. By December, temperatures cool to 13C, reaching 11C in January and 5 hours of sunshine. Larnaca receives an average 369mm rainfall throughout the year, most falling in December and January.
