Lanzarote Getting there and around

The island of Lanzarote is served by the Arrecife international airport, located 5 km south west of Arrecife city in Lanzarote. The Arrecife airport serves flights to and from many European airports, including internal flights from several Spanish airports.

 

From London, there are several airlines flying to Lanzarote: BMI, Aer Lingus, Monarch Airlines, Thomas Cook Airlines, and Thomson Airways from London-Gatwick; Monarch Airlines, Ryanair, and Thomson Airways from London-Luton; Thomas Cook Airlines, Thomson Airways, and Ryanair from London-Stansted.

 

From Madrid in Spain, the EasyJet, Ryanair, Air Europa, Iberia Airlines, Quantum Air and Spanair have frequent flights to Lanzarote.

 

Lanzarote is also well connected to the neighboring Canary Islands: Air Europa to and from Fuerteventura, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Tenerife-South; Binter Canarias to and from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Tenerife-North; Isla Airways to and from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Tenerife-North.

 

Lanzarote is to the north of Fuerteventura and only a short distance apart. From Corralejo and Playa Banca in Fuerteventura, ferry services take approximately 40 minutes to reach Lanzarote.
