La Gomera Getting there and around

The Playa Santiago airport serves daily inter-island flights from La Gomera to Gran Canaria and Tenerife, and back. Direct flights from London to Tenerife and Gran Canaria are served by Ryanair, BMI, Thomson, Thomas Cook, Viking, EasyJet and Aer Lingus airlines, and La Palma by Thomson airways. Visitors flying from other parts of Europe, and elsewhere, may first fly to any one…Tenerife’s Reina Sofia International or Los Rodeos Airports, Gran Canaria International Airport or La Palma Airport…and then take an inter-island flight to La Gomera.

La Palma, Gran Canaria and Tenerife are also popular cruise ports. From either island, flights can be taken to La Gomera.

32kms from La Gomera, the port of Los Cristianos has ferry services by Olsen, Fred and Naviera Armas companies connecting to La Gomera. Naviera Armas cover between Los Cristanos and San Sebastian via car ferries, while Fred and Olsen uses fast ferries to cover between Los Cristianos, San Sebastian, Valle Gran Rey and Playa Santiago.
