Your choice of dining in La Caleta lies between the traditional Spanish-tapas bars, Canarian eateries, and international cuisine restaurants.

If you choose the Spanish and Canarian specialty restaurants, expect to come across a delectable authentic fare, complete with the famous Canarian wrinkled potatoes, green and red Mojo sauce, handmade cottage cheese, pork tacos, Príncipe Alberto confection and wine. An international menu will include spicy Indian, Chinese, Thai, and Mexican; if you’d prefer something closer to home, French, Italian and English cuisines.

Ask any fellow visitor in La Caleta and they’ll tell you an English menu is reserved for those severely homesick and cannot do without an English breakfast or Sunday roast. An experimental gastronome will point you towards the many inexpensive cafes and snack bars along La Caleta’s beach.  Select either Canarian seafood or multi-cuisine preparations. Local San Miguel or Tropical beer is great over an evening with friends, but Tenerife’s wine is a must accompaniment to a full course meal.
