The North Cyprus Hotels Board guidebook has listed around 125 restaurants in Kyrenia. Many of these restaurants can be found in the harbor area and several around the town.
Kyrenia’s old harbor is lined with ancient warehouses. These warehouses have been converted into commercial centres and houses several shops, restaurants and bars. Anything, from Turkish to European cuisines can be found here. Notable restaurants include the Niazis for Turkish kebabs, Green House for Mexican dishes, and Geye for confections. Geye is also the only place in Northern Cyprus serving Turkish ice-cream. There are a handful of restaurants with open balcony and rooftop facilities. While you dine, you can watch the bustling harbor and the Mediterranean Sea.
Beyond the harbor area, there are popular restaurants like the Simit Dünyası for cakes and pastries, the multi-cuisine Brasserie, and the fast-food restaurant of Passport. There is also the Anibal restaurant with its exclusive Turkish menu, and the Yeni Han vegetarian restaurant serving popular international dishes, including Italian, Indian and Chinese.
