On your special day, you can start preparing by starting off at the Kurumba Village Resort Spa. Here, you can pamper your body and your senses. Guests can book a session for both yourself and your beloved. A body massage and an invigorating facial can help prepare for the big day.
After a morning at the spa, the hotel’s staff prepares the couple for a traditional Maldivian ceremony. The guests are escorted to a traditionally decorated setting where the traditional Maldivian folk music is playing and a judge is ready to preside over the ceremony. The guests can read their vows in the presence of the judge and amidst the natural elements. After the ceremony is through, the judge gives the guests a hand carved certificate and the cake cutting ceremony begins.
The Kurumba Village Resort also arranges for the couple to cruise into the sunset after the renewal of the vows. Once the guests arrive back at the Kurumba Valley Resort, they are treated to a special dinner on a pontoon. After the dinner, the guests retire back to their villa, which is infused with the aromas of exotic oils. The marriage bed is decorated in the traditional manner and in the morning, the guests are given breakfast and champagne in bed.
