Weather is an important factor to be considered while going on a vacation. The Kuramathi Tourist Resort experiences more of rain and winds when compared to the other places. The reason for this is that it is located in the northern atolls and is unlike the islands in the southern atolls. The sunshine is always bright here and the temperature here usually is around 28 degree Celsius.  Some people prefer coming here between November to April when there is almost a 10 hour of sunshine in a day. The temperature during this time is around 30 degree Celsius. There is hardly any difference in the temperature of the air and the sea throughout the year. The basic difference is caused only by the rains.
From November to April the weather is very dry with little rainfall. The sky is usually clear with a warm weather and the water more clam making it ideal for swimming. March and April are the hottest months experienced here and the temperature rises over 30 degree Celsius. Though this time seems to be very hot, the cool breeze from the ocean cools down the rising temperature of the island. However November to April is considered as the best time to visit the place because the crystal clear water attracts a lot of divers during this period.
