Koh Samui Getting there and around

You can fly to Koh Samui in direct flights from Bangkok. There are direct flights available from Phuket, Krabi and Singapore as well.

Those on budget holidays to Koh Samui can take the trains from any of the above cities. You will disembark at Suratthani station from where you are taken by bus to the ferry for the 1 - 2 hour crossing to Koh Samui from the mainland.
Buses are the least expensive option for those on a tight budget holiday or last minute holidays.
For getting around the island, you can hire taxis, motor bikes or rent jeeps.
