
At an altitude of 450 m above sea level, Hisaronu is situated on a plateau at the foothills of the Bagadad Mountains. The high position means the place is cooler, less humid and more airy than the surrounding areas. The weather of Hisaronu is sunny and warm most of the year. Springtime with an average temperature of 15 degrees Celsius and eight sunshine hours daily is best suited for sightseeing, cycling and walking. In the peak of summer, temperatures hit the 30C mark, but due to the altitude and the mountains it remains cooler than the coastal resorts at Fethiye and Olu Deniz. Summers are hot but evenings are cool, and there is little rainfall. The sun shines for around 13 hours everyday in the peak of summer. The autumn season is similar to spring. Winters see an average temperature of 9 degrees Celsius and lows of 7 degrees in January and February. The winter season is quite mild but most of the rain in the region falls during this time only. Hisaronu receives 5 hours of sunshine everyday in winter months.
