Colombo is served by the Bandaranaike International Airport. The majority of vacation charters flying to Bandaranaike International are from India and Europe. In London, Thomson Airways serves flights to Colombo from the London-Gatwick airport. Sri Lankan airlines fly from London-Heathrow and from other European countries like Rome and Milan-Italy, Paris-France, and Frankfurt-Germany. Other airlines like Eurofly and Condor also fly from Milan and Rome, and Frankfurt, respectively.

From London, a large number of airlines fly to India. From Chennai, you can board either one – Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, JetLite, Kingfisher Airlines, or SriLankan Airlines to reach Colombo. SriLankan Airlines also fly from Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore.

Hikkaduwa is located in south-west Sri Lanka, 98kms south of Colombo city. Hikkaduwa can be reached by train or private vehicle from Colombo. Bus connections between Colombo, Galle and Hikkaduwa are also good and the Hikkaduwa Bus Station is the entrance point for most of the travelers to Hikkaduwa.
