The most convenient part of travelling to Fort Lauderdale is that the city has its own International Airport, Fort Lauderdale/ Hollywood International Airport which provide service to and fro to more than 30 US cities, Canada and the Caribbean. Port Everglades is at a stone throw’s distance where thousands of cruises arrive and depart for worldwide destinations. Therefore one can catch a direct flight or even a ship. From the airport, one always has the option of hiring a cab till the hotel. In fact, tourists may also visit the famous Hollywood en route Fort Lauderdale. Visitors can also come via the Miami International Airport and then take a cab to Fort Lauderdale. Within the city, visitors may stroll, bike, race or ski around.
