Basilica de Santa Maria del Fiore: It is a cathedral church and the third largest in Italy. Its construction started towards the end of the 13th century and restorations were made form time to time. The most important feature about the church is its impressive dome, which happens to be the largest brick dome ever built employing some four million bricks.

Accademia: It is a famous gallery in Florence where sculpture of Michelangelo, David, is housed. Also displayed in the gallery are several famous Florentine paintings belonging to 15th and 16th century A.D.
