Our Review of Crystal River...

Crystal River has the distinction of being the Gem of the Nature Coast. Its convenient location in the Citrus County makes it a much visited tourist destination. Since the river is fed by many springs and ends up in the Kings Bay, the temperature of the water remains warm and constant throughout the year. This is the reason why Manatees flock to the warmer waters of Crystal River. The city is small, but by no means archaic. There are modern amenities available to suit all kinds of travelers. It is also one of the few places in the world, where tourists can interact with Manatees.
