Costa Calma resort area is crowded with small to large, humble to elegant restaurants, bars, taverns and cafeterias. Local food joints are famous for their delicious Canarian and Spanish seafood preparations. Fish is a specialty and the old fishing village of Morro has few very good places that serve light Canarian meals.
Costa Calma targets a large population of German tourists, including a fair number of European visitors. Hotel restaurants thrive on international food, serving delicacies from Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Italian, English, and German cuisines. There are also several nice cafeterias providing light seafood snacks, including breads, pastas, pizzas, sandwiches and refreshing drinks.
It is incorrect to describe Costa Calma resort as a party zone, for nightlife here is very low-key. But there are some nice English bars, pubs and discos along the beach where one is likely to find Spanish beer, including other drinks, fruit juices, punches and cocktails.
