Costa Caleta Weather

Costa Caleta enjoys hot weather. Summer temperatures in July and August can average 29C, often rising above 30C when the Calima, a hot, dry sandstorm from the Sahara, hits the southern coasts of Fuerteventura. Fortunately, this is rare, and Costa Caleta experiences lovely warm weather and 8 to 9 hours of sunshine in summer. For those who desire that perfect tan, summer is the ideal time to holiday in Costa Caleta.

Winters are comparatively cooler, although still warm at 24 and 22C in November and December, respectively. There is some rain in winters, but it falls in showers and is generally over very quickly. Winter days enjoy 6 to 7 hours of sunshine, and although the warmth is luxurious, one must watch the sun as it can harm the skin.
