Coral Bay holidays center on the Coral Bay beach. Coral Bay beach is a gorgeous curved stretch of golden sand, resting between two headlands.  It is easy to see why Coral Bay is rated the finest beach in Cyprus - the beach offers an outstanding array of water sports and land excursion facilities, and has shallow calm waters that are extremely safe for children. The beach also has splendid sandy coves; the Mediterranean in these parts houses a wealth of marine life, including wreck sites, and is exceedingly popular with divers. Also located close to Coral Bay are the outstanding dives sites of Maninji Island, Zenobia and Akamas Peninsula, and the Cape Lara region that is the nesting place of turtles.

There are a couple of quaint, traditional Cypriot villages located near Coral Bay. Notable among these is the picturesque hilly village of Peyia and coastal villages of Latchi and Polis, including several historical sites.
