Colombo Attractions and Activities

Colombo city is vibrant, modern and stylish. Colombo houses Sri Lanka’s most cosmopolitan range of restaurants and everything from traditional eateries to elegant colonial style dining restaurants can be found around the city. A wide choice of bars, cafes and casinos can be located as well. 

For a slice of authentic Sri Lankan, the city’s Pettah bazaar is the ideal place to be. Located to the east of the Fort, the area’s cobbled streets, narrow lanes and bustling courtyard display the ethnic flavors of Sri Lanka at best. A large number of Buddhist and Hindu temples and Muslim mosques speak of Sri Lanka’s secularist nature and the influence of different cultures that permeates through the country.
