During your Canaries holidays, do remember that dinner is usually around 9 pm and restaurants wont be open till say 11. Tipping is acceptable on a holiday to Canaries, though not mandatory guests leave 5 to 10 percent as tip or a few coins. If you are visiting someone do take a gift along with you, if the host has children then take gifts for them as well. Shake hands and greet people including the kids, always start from the eldest.
